Application is open for the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP) scholarship for 2023-2024. International students willing to continue their education and study for their Master’s degree in Malaysia can apply to this fully-funded program that Malaysia’s Ministry of Education offers and supports. The MTCP Scholarship is for students from developing countries to pursue postgraduate studies in Malaysia. Meanwhile, the students are acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills that could contribute to developing their home country. The scholarship duration is 24 to 36 months for the Master’s Degree Program.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should fulfill the following requirements:
- Applicants should be from developing countries
- Application is only open to candidates with a valid admission offer letter from at least one Malaysian university but has not yet started their course or those who have enrolled for less than one semester for a Master’s Degree.
- Should posse an IELTS (minimum score of 6.0) as proof of English language proficiency, or TOEFL paper-based test score of 500, or a TOEFL internet-based test score of 60.
- Be enrolled in full-time postgraduate studies at the designated Higher Learning Institutions and have a valid admission letter.
- Hold 45 years of age or younger.
- Applicants for the Master’s Degree Program should have at least a Second Class Upper (Honours) or a CGPA of 3.5 at the Undergraduate Degree level.
- They should be healthy and certified by a doctor/physician.
- Applicants who have already finished their studies at an English medium institute may submit an English Proficiency certificate.
- Applicants with degrees in English as a medium of instruction may also be acceptable (evidence is a prerequisite).
- Must undertake full-time study Master’s Degree at the selected Malaysian Universities.

- A certified copy of Academic Transcripts
- Curriculum Vitae
- English Language Proficiency test result (TOEFL/ IELTS/ PTE/ CAE/ CPE/ MUET/ equivalent qualification); alternatively, applicants can submit an official letter from the previous institution declaring English as the medium of instruction.
- One certified copy of the Passport (minimum of 18 months validity)
- Medical examination report
