New Message for Afghan Woman Organization (NMAWO) was established in 2010 as a non-governmental, non-profit, non-political and independent civil society organization registered with Ministry of Economy of Afghanistan.

NMAWO is dedicated to welfare and progress of Afghan citizens with a primary focus on WASH, women’s empowerment, social cohesion, small skills training, human rights and advocacy. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team.

Job Descriptions:

New Message for Afghan Woman Organization (NMAWO) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Officer/Project Officer to join our team. The project manager will be responsible for the reporting, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of development project at provincial level. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure successful project delivery.

 

Job Requirements:

  1. Determine and define project scope and objectives.
  2. Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner.
  3. Preparing the monthly and final report of the project.
  4. Participate in staff meeting and presenting the progress of the project.
  5. Provide update information on project progress to Director if required.
  6. Response to comments and questions of donor with consultant with the Program Manager.  
  7. Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
  8. Track project costs in order to meet budget.
  9. Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
  10. Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about policies, adjustments, and progress.
  11. Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
  12. Utilize organization best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
  13. Monitor progress and make adjustment as needed.
  14. Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
  15. Any other task assigned by management board and program manager.
