Citizen Organization for Advocacy and Resilience, COAR (formally Coordination of Afghan Relief) CoAR is an Afghan, independent, nonpolitical, non-sectarian, and non-for profit organization established in 1989 and registered formally with the ministry of Economy. COAR actively bridging between donors of humanitarian aid and rural Afghan communities severely affected by almost four decades of wars,
internal conflicts, natural and manmade disasters, and complexities. COAR endeavors to reach the unreached and embark on strengthening local coping mechanisms to enable communities to find durable local solutions to their local problems and encourage self-reliance and sustainability. COAR works with
communities to proactively utilize their own scarce and limited resource the most efficient and effective way and discourage a culture of aid dependency, except in times of disasters and extreme poverty. COAR has maintained the access of beneficiaries to basic services with strict observation of humanitarian principles of Independence, Neutrality and Impartiality in practice.

Key Responsibilities and duties

• Take part in all AQBE activity related trainings.
• Preparation of training plan and follow up on the regular basis.
• Conduct and deliver the training programs and ToTs at provincial, district and community level for education officers, community mobilizers, SMS members, and teachers.
• Experience with group process, facilitation and familiar with teaching and role play.
• Maintain fidelity to the program by presenting the curriculum according to the directions, training and materials provided by AQBE PMU.
•  Encourage to record “lessons learned” and identify opportunities for future improvements.
• Preparing on progress made and problem/challenges faced, key points/finding followings each training session and submitted to ensure best practices are adopted for future training.
• Work closely with provincial coordinator/education manager for effective planning and implementation of the activities based on the approved work plan and assessment findings.
• Prepare training report, evaluation report and coordinate trainings with relevant line department of (PED and DED) and IRC as needed.
• Check the quality of training materials (handouts, trainer guides, banner and posters), methodologies, agenda, time management and preparations for those trainings which are going to be conducted by the AQBE team.
• Conduct any other task assigned by the management.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences or any other relevant fields.

Experiences: 

• At least 3 years of related experience in master training preferably with an international organization and local NGOs.

Computer Skills:

• Familiar with MS Office Package

Language Proficiency: 

• Proficient in Pashto and Dari languages with good understanding and writing of English.

Other Skills:

• Knowledge of the value of education in Islam, the child development and the current trend of education in Afghanistan.
