Job Descriptions:

Job Summary:

The Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality educational experiences aligned with the Waterfall methodology and PMI standards. The role includes curriculum development, dynamic course creation, and providing one-on-one and group support to students. The trainer will prepare students for the PMP certification exam while fostering a deep understanding of project management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Development: Create, update, and maintain curriculum in alignment with PMI guidelines and Project Management Institute-USA standards.
  • Course Design: Develop engaging lesson plans, teaching aids, assessments, and hands-on exercises tailored to student needs.
  • LMS Utilization: Leverage learning management systems (e.g., TalentLMS, 360Learning) and web-based delivery tools for effective training.
  • Class Management: Conduct scheduled classes punctually and document any deviations through appropriate channels.
  • Student Engagement: Actively encourage and motivate students to participate fully in all aspects of the educational process.
  • Mentoring: Provide one-on-one and group mentoring to support students’ learning journeys and PMP certification preparation.
  • Expertise Maintenance: Stay updated on developments in project management and ensure curriculum relevance.
  • Student Support: Address student queries and guide them in applying project management frameworks effectively.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Associate's degree in Business Administration, Project Management or a related field.

 

Certification:

  • PMP Certification (mandatory).

 

Experience:

  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience in project management training and coaching using the Waterfall methodology.

 

Skills & Competencies:

  • Project Management Knowledge: Strong understanding of PMI framework, including artifacts, events, and roles.
  • Teaching Skills: Proven ability to create engaging course materials and facilitate learning.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with e-learning platforms and instructional technology.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
  • Adaptability: Capacity to tailor teaching approaches to diverse student needs.
