Role Overview

The Logistics Clerk is a critical part of our supply chain team, managing logistics processes to support seamless oilfield operations. This position involves maintaining accurate records, coordinating shipments, and ensuring well-managed inventory. The role demands precision, efficiency, and excellent communication skills to uphold our high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Inventory Management:
    • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure materials are properly stored and organized.
    • Perform regular stock checks and promptly address discrepancies.
  2. Shipment Coordination:
    • Prepare and process shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and waybills.
    • Track shipments to ensure timely and secure delivery.
    • Coordinate with transporters, vendors, and internal teams to address any logistical challenges.
  3. Procurement Support:
    • Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming goods to verify accuracy against purchase orders.
    • Report any inconsistencies and work with the team to resolve them.
  4. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain organized and accurate records of all logistical transactions.
    • Generate detailed reports on inventory levels, shipments, and logistics performance.
  5. Team Coordination:
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure materials and equipment are delivered on time.
    • Address urgent requests and resolve issues swiftly to minimize operational disruptions.
  6. Compliance and Safety:
    • Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and legal regulations in all logistics operations.
    • Monitor and mitigate risks to ensure smooth processes.

Job Requirements:

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2–3 years of professional experience in logistics or supply chain operations. Prior experience in oilfield logistics is a strong advantage.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in logistics software and inventory management tools.
    • Familiarity with transportation regulations and best practices in logistics.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
