1. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reviews and provide detailed reports to management.
- Monitor financial performance by analyzing trends and variances, and recommend corrective actions.
2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Analyze actual performance against the budget, providing insights and recommendations for cost control and process improvement.
3. Database Management (Viztrav):
- Utilize Viztrav (or other financial databases) to track and analyze financial data, including sales, ticket entries, and transaction records.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the system.
4. Cash Flow Management:
• Oversee cash flow, ensuring liquidity for daily operations and long-term growth.
• Manage working capital, including accounts receivable and payable.
5. Cost Control and Financial Efficiency:
• Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Recommend ways to optimize operational efficiency and reduce unnecessary costs.
6. Tax Compliance:
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of taxes, including corporate income tax, and other relevant taxes.
• Maintain compliance with local tax regulations and handle audits if necessary.
7. Internal Controls and Risk Management:
• Implement internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, including fraud prevention and error detection.
8. Team Leadership:
• Lead and mentor a small finance team, ensuring they have the tools and training to be successful.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, operations) to support financial goals and targets.
9. Financial Planning and Strategy:
• Participate in strategic planning sessions, providing financial insights and contributing to company goals.
• Provide guidance on pricing strategies, investment opportunities, and long-term financial planning.
10. System and Process Improvement:
• Continuously assess and improve financial systems and processes, identifying opportunities for automation or efficiency gains.
• Implement new technologies or tools to streamline financial reporting and analysis.
