Job Descriptions:

Scope of work: 

The role focuses on preparing and delivering high-quality reports for donors, partners, and government agencies, ensuring all requirements are met while highlighting ASLO’s leadership in the field. This includes managing reporting workflows among program teams, senior leadership, and HQ, as well as working closely with M&E staff to ensure accurate monitoring and reporting of activities.

Additionally, the role involves identifying and documenting success stories that showcase program impact for internal and external audiences. The incumbent will edit and finalize reports to maintain clarity and consistency.

In terms of government liaison, the role requires leading project registrations with relevant ministries, particularly the Ministry of Economy, and ensuring compliance with reporting obligations. This includes preparing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), managing the signatory process, translating official documents, coordinating document circulation from field teams, and handling official correspondence with government agencies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and preparation of high-quality, timely reports for donors, partners, and government on program progress, ensuring all donor reporting requirements are met and strategically positioned to demonstrate ASLO’s leadership in programming in the country context.
  • Manage reporting workflows and processes between program teams, senior leadership, and HQ to ensure the timely and quality development and review of reports.
  • Work closely with program M&E staff to ensure credible, best-practice monitoring and reporting of program activities.
  • Lead initiative to identify, research, write, and report on key sector success stories for internal and external audiences, packaging stories that center on evidence to further illustrate the impact of the programming.
  • Edit and finalize reports and communication

2- Liaison

  • Leading and assisting on registration of projects with relevant government ministries, especially ministry of economy and meeting government requirements including reporting.
  • Prepare and process Bi annual Ministry of Economy report.
  • Prepared and process sector report (provincial level) with the help of provincial managers.
  • Preparing (Memorandum of understandings) for each individual project and following with relevant government ministries for signatory process.
  • Producing and translating official documents provided to government line agencies for the purposes of project registration and reporting.
  • Circulating and collecting official documents from the field teams for the purpose of project registration, preparing reporting.
  • Preparing or responding official letters received from government ministries or departments.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor/Master degree business administration, public Administration or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in Liaison and Partnership
  • Experience working with international / National NGO
  • Good knowledge of internal liaison/M&E policies, processes and procedures generally and significant experience in their application to the Liaison.
  • Good computer skills and proficiency in standard computer applications (e.g. Word, Excel etc.)
  • Fluency in English, Dari, and Pashto.
