HealthNet TPO is a Netherlands based not for profit, non-governmental organization founded on the principle that access to affordable quality health care is a basic human right. HealthNet TPO works with interdisciplinary professionals to develop and implement innovative, culturally appropriate, evidence based public health interventions with a focus on: innovative development of health systems, mental health and psychosocial care, long and short term training of health workers, control of communicable diseases (including malaria), and health financing schemes. HealthNet TPO offers ground-breaking and unconventional solutions that foster self-reliance and promote sustainable health care that is accessible to all.

 HealthNet TPO in Afghanistan aims to improve the health status of the people in Afghanistan by supporting the local communities and the Government of Afghanistan in the development of a sustainable health care system.  HealthNet TPO is working in Afghanistan since 1994, implementing integrated health projects managed mainly by national staff and supported technically by expatriate staff from the headquarter office. HealthNet TPO Afghanistan is providing Primary Health Care, Mental Health and psychosocial services, fighting malaria and supporting Mother & Child Health Care in terms of providing training for Community Midwifes and to conduct operation research. Health Net TPO is currently implementing projects in 22 provinces and the major program it implements are Malaria Control program,SEHATMANDI projects in four provinces, nutrition,  Mental Health and Psychosocial program through a community system strengthening approach.

HealthNet TPO has a zero tolerance toward sexual exploitation and abuse and child abuse. HNITPO takes seriously all concerns and complaints about sexual exploitation and abuse and child abuse involving HNITPO employees and Related Personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manages and day to day management of hostel
2. Delegates the duties of all PSC trainee & support staff related to the program (Cleaners, Nursery, Laundry, Cook, Guards).
3. Train and supervised the supportive staff.
4. Keep course coordinator informed regarding supplies needed for hostel on a timely basis.
5. To assure the hostel students are happy with services for education and programmatic opportunities.
6. Request for feedback and ideas from each team member(Participants)
7. Monitors supportive staff performances.
8. Identifies needs of PSC trainee, facilitates and supports their professional development.
9. Ensures a clean, safe and secure working environment and takes all necessary measures to minimize risks to health and safety.
10.  Promote positive work environment.
11.  Maintain all requirements for hostel operation.
12.  Ensures all training center program properties, all resources and equipments are maintained and in good working order and maintains an inventory of resources which is regularly checked.
13.  Arranges and conducts regular meetings with PSC trainee, families of the PSC trainee and supported staff.
14.  Monitors attendance of PSC trainee and keeps attendance log (during night shift).
15.  Support PSC trainees for their personal or study related problems.
16.  Assists the students in their night shift studies.
17.  Notifies Coordinator of any concerns related to students' learning and ability.
18.  Participates in the supervision of supportive staff of the training center.
19.  Assumes responsibility for availability of resources used during the class.
20.  Be a role model and train staff to foster a friendly and cooperative communication and interaction between students and support staff of the Hostel.
21.  Enforces all course policies regarding students' performances and behaviors.
22. Performs any other tasks assigned by line manager.
23. To support the PSCs trainee through the program and when necessary seek advice on personal or study related problems.

1. Afghan National
2. Bachelor’s degree Management and social Science  (Prefer to be Professional).
3. Fluent in Pashto and Dari.
4. Ability to manage & organize work, supervises, motivate and guide PSC trainees.
5. Ability to give supportive feedback.
6. Excellent oral/written communication skills.
7. Excellent problem solving and decision is making skill.
8. knowledge of computer programs (MS Word and MS Excel)
9. Previous experiences of hostel management (preferred)
