Women Activities & Social Service Association (WASSA) was established in 2002 in Afghanistan as a non-governmental organization, committed to seeking ways for women's empowerment in Afghanistan. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Development Studies, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in SME/entrepreneurship development, livelihoods, or economic empowerment projects.
Experience working with NGOs, community-based organizations, or international development agencies.
Demonstrated experience in business training, proposal development, and beneficiary selection processes.
Skills and Knowledge:
Strong understanding of MSME ecosystems and entrepreneurship promotion strategies.
Experience conducting market and skills assessments.
Proficient in project management, data collection systems (e.g., KOBO), and reporting.
Strong facilitation, training, and mentoring skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of local economic contexts and community engagement approaches.
Fluency in local languages (Dari, Pashto) and English.
