Afghan Youth Services Organization (AYSO) is a National Afghan NGO registered in 2006 with the MoEc of Afghanistan with registration No:397.AYSO since came into being has developed, successfully implemented, and provided direct assistance services in different   sectors such as health, educational, Food Security,  Capacity building, GBV Prevention and Response, Peace, Justice Research, and Surveys human rights and awareness projects and programs with the technical and financial support of several UN Agencies such as UNDP,UNFPA, UNICEF, WFP, and WHO, AYSO has implemented projects with government ministries and departments as well as has been being implementing partner with AAH/USAID, FHI, BARC, AADA,HEWAD, and other National and International Organization.

1. Register and undertake growth monitoring including weight, height, Mid Upper Arm Circumference Measurement of all children under two years of age.
2. Classify children in normal, Moderate Acute malnutrition (MAM) and Sever Acute Malnutrition (SAM) categories.
3. Community sensitization and conduct counseling for caregivers of all under two years children on appropriate infant and young child feeding (IYCF) practices and on prevention of infections based on their status.
4. The SAM cases should be referred to the doctor for giving adequate treatment.
5. Administer Vitamin A if the child has not received Vitamin A supplementation during the previous NID.
6. Promote consumption of iodized salt.
7. Triage the patients and provide first aid
8. Manage shock including open vein and control of bleeding
9. Wound care and dressing.
10. Identification of fracture including neck, spinal cord and its stabilization/immobilization.
11. Cooperate the doctor in distribution of medicine to the patients
12. Cooperate the doctor in distribution of medicine to the patients
13. Assess the psychosocial status of affected people
14. Provide psychosocial counseling for individual and groups
15. Refer complicated cases to doctor or higher levels and follow up of cases

Provide weekly and monthly report.

Note: Contract issuance is subject to project's donor approval and fund availability.

1. MoPH certified nurse 
2. At least have 2 years’ experience with BPHS
3. Received training in emergencies
