About Afghanistan Social and Legal Organization (ASLO):

ASLO is an Afghan non-governmental, non-political, non-profit and non-partisan organization and has the status of legal entity. The organization was informally established in 2012 and was officially registered with the ministry of economy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in 2013.

Job Descriptions:

Finance Management:

  • Oversee and manage all financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and reporting.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and analysis for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financial risk.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.
  • Develop and monitor financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Lead financial planning, cost control, and financial strategy development.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance and administration management.
  • Strong knowledge of financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel and financial modeling.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of local tax laws, labor laws, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in team management and cross-functional collaboration.
