ASLO is an Afghan non-governmental, non-political, non-profit and non-partisan organization and has the status of legal entity. The organization was informally established in 2012 and was officially registered with the ministry of economy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in 2013.

•         Construction is ASLO’s core activity and most other activities are directly or indirectly related to construction

•         Emergency response and supporting refugees and IDPs and returnees,

•         Legal Aid and access to justice.

• Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure a safe environment.
• Manage and supervise security personnel, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Conduct regular security risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Monitor security systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access control systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Respond promptly to security incidents, investigations, and emergency situations.
• Prepare security reports and maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and investigations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
• Promote a culture of safety and security awareness among employees.
• Manage security budgets and resources efficiently.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in security operations or management.
• Knowledge of security systems, surveillance technology, and emergency response protocols.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
• Certification in security management or related courses is a plus (e.g., CPP, PSP).
