TBS is a private services company officially registered with the Ministry of Commerce (MoC) of Afghanistan. Established in 2011, TBS has been actively operating across the country, providing a wide range of ancillary and HR services to non-governmental organizations (NGOs). The company specializes in supporting NGOs with logistical, administrative, and operational services, ensuring efficient project implementation in various sectors. The Contract Manager provides comprehensive support in management and administrative functions within the client’s office. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in management, administration, and client relations, along with strong communication skills in English, Pashto, and Dari.
The Contract Manager will report directly to the Head of Support and the Project Manager, performing tasks as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as TBS primary point of contact for all contractual and administrative matters arising from the respective Call-off Contract.
Coordinate and agree on schedules for regular and non-regular activities with the client in advance, ensuring adherence by all TBS staff.
Train, supervise, and support staff, ensuring that all services are delivered efficiently and effectively in accordance with assigned duties.
Ensure fair and balanced distribution of tasks among TBS employees based on approved work schedules.
Continuously monitor staff performance to ensure timely execution of duties and compliance with quality standards.
Ensure that all TBS employees adhere to the company’s Code of Conduct and the security requirements of the respective site.
Maintain and regularly update the Health and Safety Plan for the site, ensuring continuous implementation.
Maintain and regularly update the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Plan and ensure ongoing compliance.
Ensure an adequate inventory of materials, tools, and supplies is maintained to prevent service interruptions; notify the client promptly for replenishment as needed.
Maintain accurate records of distribution and usage of administrative supplies provided to the client.
Conduct regular meetings with the client to address operational matters and ensure that all reporting obligations are fulfilled in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate staff attendance, scheduling, and leave records.
Perform any additional duties as required to ensure the effective delivery of services.
Prepare and submit regular reports to the Project Manager on operational performance and contract management activities.
Must possess a valid and reliable identity document, such as an Afghanistan National ID (NID).
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
Minimum of four (4) years of experience in management and leadership roles.
Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to maintain professional communication and collaboration.
Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication skills in English (spoken, written, and reading).
Fluency in local languages, including Pashto and Dari.
Demonstrated knowledge of relevant professional fields and practices.
Proficient in computer applications and report writing.

Ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse and dynamic environment.
