Job Summary:

The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and reporting of project activities in Kabul and Herat. The role requires strong leadership, coordination with stakeholders, and effective project management skills to ensure timely and quality implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive project plans covering timelines, budgets, resource allocation, risks etc. ensuring alignment with the donor requirements
• Lead discussions and coordinate with different functions including training, sales, IT, admin teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Liaise with the selected e-work platform partners and affiliate networks to guarantee best possible support for the program participants
• Track progress across various parameters related to outreach campaigns, enrollment levels, training KPIs, freelancer activity etc. to identify and mitigate roadblocks
• Manage end-to-end reporting pertaining to participant profiles, platform statistics, income trends, success stories highlighting impact
• Foster close collaboration within project teams and external stakeholder groups through proactive communication and relationship management

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration or comparable field, preferable
• Over 5 years of experience managing complex development sector projects sponsored by UN, bilateral/multi-lateral organizations
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams to accomplish project goals and drive results
• Strong analytical mindset, problem solving skills and process orientation
• Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English, Dari and Pashto; awareness of the Afghan context.
