Job Descriptions:

Prepare and cook high-quality, nutritious, and consistently excellent meals in accordance with daily menus.
Having expertise in cooking Afghan, Turkish and Uzbek cuisine,                                                                                             Receive, inspect, and properly store all food supplies to ensure freshness, safety, and optimal use.
Oversee safe and hygienic food handling, preparation, and distribution at all times.
Maintain the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in compliance with health regulations.
Operate, clean, and maintain all kitchen equipment to ensure efficiency and food safety.
Monitor all kitchen supplies for quality, quantity, and condition; immediately report spoiled or substandard items.
Ensure food is prepared at the right time, never too early, to preserve taste, texture, and quality while meeting scheduled meal times.
Provide hands-on training and supervision to kitchen team members      to uphold consistent cooking standards and operational efficiency.
Conduct routine checks of stored and incoming food for signs of spoilage or contamination.
Carry out any other duties as assigned by the line manage
 

Job Requirements:

Education: 
•    Graduated from high school, certificate for a recognized institute in the same filed would be an advantage 
•    3 to 5 years’ experience in the same position with different national and international organizations 
Personal Qualities:
•    To demonstrate a polite and approachable manner at all times 
•    Vigilant to hygiene and neatness of the food, strong observation of kitchen/dining room cleanness time to time.
Personal Skills :
•    Able to report issues such as broken equipment, hygiene concerns, or accidents to the supervisor promptly and clearly. Technical Skills: 
•    Excellent knowledge of hygiene in the working environment and properly use Kitchen equipment 
Languages: 
•    Must be able to communicate clearly in Dari and Pashto. 
•    Basic English communication skills are a plus, but not required.
•    Knowledge of Russian languages is an advantage
