Job Descriptions:

The Project Supervisor oversees the execution of various project interventions across the project target areas, he/she will ensure timely completion of the interventions based on the project execution plan, within the budget, and according to quality standards. He/she will coordinate with team members, subcontractors, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth implementation of project.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

  • Leading and supervising project teams, assigning tasks, and ensuring that team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Allocating resources effectively to ensure that project tasks are completed on time and within budget constraints.
  • Identifying any potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitoring project progress and ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations and report and deviation that is conflict project scope and descriptions.
  • Supervise project teams, including engineers, technicians, and community mobilizers, to ensure efficient and effective project implementation. Delegate tasks, provide training, and support professional development as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and meeting minutes, to track project milestones and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
  • Join any coordination meeting with regional team and extend support when needed.
  • Check accuracy, transparency and clarity of the beneficiary data and ensure the data are thoroughly obtained and report any variance and inconsistency to the project Coordinator.
  • Addressing project-related challenges and conflicts promptly and proactively seeking solutions to ensure project success.
  • Conducting performance evaluations for project team members, providing feedback, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop comprehensive in-kind and Cash distribution plans in coordination with relevant stakeholders, including determining distribution locations, quantities of food to be distributed, and distribution schedules.
  • Oversee the logistical aspects of food distribution, including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. Ensure timely delivery of food supplies to distribution sites while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Job Requirements:

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Agriculture, business administration or any other related, candidates with master degree will be preferred.

Experience: minimum of 5 years relevant experience in food security and humanitarian project.

  • Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, motivate team members, and resolve conflicts. Effective communication skills are essential for conveying project goals and expectations clearly.
