LEPCO - Leprosy and Tuberculosis Control

Lepco has been active in Afghanistan since 1984 and operates in central and Northern provinces. LEPCO provides specialised health services for Persons affected by Leprosy and Tuberculosis through 7 clinics in the Hazarajat and Mazar-e Sharif.

Job summary:                                     

To ensure the safety and security of the LEPCO clinic/office and all the LEPCO properties in the clinic/office.

Report to:                                         

In-charge of clinic – Admin Manager

Main Responsibilities:                        

• Provides security assistance to the staff, office premises, building and LEPCO property.
• Screens the visitor or visitors as well as their hand carry and other belongings before entering the office premises.
•  To ensure that only LEPCO staff, patient and authorized persons or guests enter the clinic/office
• Moves around the office premises from time to time, most often at night-time and checks any unusual movements within the surrounding area of the premises.
•  Sees to it that no LEPCO property shall be taken out from office/clinics without authorization
•  Reports to his supervisor of any irregularities observed during his duty hours.
• To ensure the cleanliness of all the clinic rooms, including the patient rooms and bathrooms, /office rooms and all the furniture in these rooms.
• To ensure the cleanliness of the clinic/office compound.
•  Performs other duties as maybe assigned or required of the job

Job Requirements:

• Afghan Nationality
• Educations: Graduated from high school
• Experience: At least two-year experience in admin/security area.
• Desirable: Relevant experience in the UN/Government/NGO system or other organizations
• Languages: Excellent knowledge of the local languages Dari and Pashto
• The priority will be with people of local area
