The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and supervising the upgrade and construction of the wastewater pump station and associated facilities. This role involves managing project monitoring activities, coordinating with contractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and liaising with stakeholders. The Project Manager will focus on ensuring that all Civil, mechanical, and electrical work and project activities are executed according to plan.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Oversight and Supervision:
   • Oversee and monitor the progress of the upgrade and construction project, ensuring all activities are conducted according to the project plan.
   • Supervise contractor activities, including civil, mechanical and electrical work, to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
   • Conduct regular site inspections to verify that work is progressing as scheduled and according to established standards.
2. Coordination and Communication:
   • Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team, contractors, and stakeholders.
   • Facilitate effective communication among all parties involved in the project.
   • Prepare and present regular progress reports, updates, and documentation to stakeholders.
   • Review all submittal and plans, and share technical recommendation with client.
3. Quality and Compliance Management:
   • Ensure that all Civil, mechanical and electrical work and other project activities adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
   • Review and approve work completed by contractors, ensuring it meets quality and performance requirements.
   • Coordinate with regulatory agencies to ensure necessary permits and approvals are obtained.
   •   risks and adjust plans as needed to ensure successful project delivery.
4. Project Documentation and Reporting:
   • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and compliance records.
   • Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
   • Engage with stakeholders to address their concerns and feedback.
   • Ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and aligned with project goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent project management qualification is highly desirable. (if any)
• Proven experience in supervising large-scale construction projects, particularly those involving mechanical, electrical works.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, systems, construction processes, and industry standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively manage contractors and oversee project activities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Fluent in English
