About CRDSA:

Coordination of Rehabilitation and Development Services for Afghanistan (CRDSA) is a not-for-profit, non-sectarian and non-political humanitarian organization that was established in 2002 by a team of Afghan volunteers interested in serving afghan vulnerable people. CRDSA is providing services for Afghan people in sectors of Sustainable Livelihoods, Civil Society Strengthening, Returnees/IDPs Re-integration and Protection and Human Rights Promotion. Presently, CRDSA is operating in 3 provinces of Afghanistan including Herat, Ghor,and Badghis.

Job Descriptions:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure coordination with the stakeholders in particular with the district authorities in the very beginning days of the project commencement.
  • Supervise the process of communities’ mobilization and conduction of the project orientation to the target communities.
  • Supervise the process of beneficiaries’ selection/verification.
  • Provide full orientation sessions to the project staff on the scope of the project including (duration, target communities and target HHs, amount of food/cash etc.)
  • Supervise the process of selection of target villages.
  • Establish close coordination with the project stakeholders and maintain coordination with the stakeholders throughout the project life cycles.
  • Ensure the warehouses are selected in close coordination and consultation with the target communities and stakeholders.
  • Ensure staff are doing their daily functions efficiently and timely.
  • Identify problems and report to the project manager timely.
  • Ensure project implementation sites have the complaint and feedback mechanism and the target communities are aware of our mechanism.
  • Ensure help desks are set-up and the communities are aware of that.
  • Supervise the preparation of the distribution sites, timely informing of the beneficiaries and distribution of the foods in a sufficient manner.
  • Provide regular trainings to project staff and ensure staff are fully aware of the policies, procedures and their ToRs.
  • Ensure project documents are timely completed, signed and stamped by the project stakeholders including (district governor, TPM,and local Shoras/elders).
  • Ensure duplications are avoided and ineligible beneficiaries are identified and eliminated from the beneficiaries list.
  • Ensure transparency and accountabilities of his/her team and report any fraud and/or misconduct related behavior of staff to the project manager timely and accurately.

Job Requirements:

  • University degree or higher in public administration, economics, and management required.
  • Two years of similar working experience with NGOs or I/NGOs is preferred.
  • Should be skilled in working with a team.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office (word, excel, access, power point)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and problem solving skills.
  • Must be able to travel and work in project district areas.
  • Proficiency in English, with excellent writing skills.
  • Good attention to details.
  • Problem solving and good communication skills.
  • Committed and punctual.
