About HADAAF:

HADAAF is a National NGO, established in April 2006, registered with MoE under registration No. 514. HADAAF is working with Health, WASH, Nutrition, livelihood and Child protection but mainly involved, working in health/nutrition sector since 2007. HADAAF have experience in implementation of BPHS and other vertical health support projects of long and short duration. HADAAF implemented BPHS in Nuristan and Zabul provinces in partnership with IMC (2007-2011) and Cordaid (2013-2019) respectively. HADAAF also implemented long term health support projects (Support to CBHC, PPP, Nutrition, integrated WASH and Nutrition, malaria/TB control and capacity buildings of health staff) in Urozgan, Nuristan, and Kunar provinces. Currently HADAAF is implementing health projects (Mobile Health Teams, Mobile Health and Nutrition teams, Fixed PHC, CBNP, C-WIFS & MNP and Covid-19 response support) projects in Nangarhar, Balkh, Khost, Paktia, Ghazni and Helmand provinces.

HADAAF has adapted a strategic approach of partnership and collaboration throughout its program implementation. Thus far, HADAAF has implementing projects/programs in partnership with MoPH, IMC, UNICEF, WHO, FHI 360, Health Net TPO, UNDP, Save the Children International, Swedish Committee for Afghanistan, Johanniter International Assistance and Cordaid in Nuristan, Urozgan, Ghor, Farah, Kunar, Laghman Kabul and Khost provinces. This collaborative approach has enabled HADAAF to get access to hard-to-reach areas and implement quality service delivery. 

Job Descriptions:

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Introduction:

To assist community members to identify needs and to generate solutions, identifying priority issues and to analyze their problems. To encourage and stimulate community members to organize for action aimed at solving their problems and to plan, implement and monitor action that they define themselves. He should report to the Community Mobilization supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Social Organizers will be working under the direct supervision of Community Mobilization Supervisor Attend the orientation session on data collection and application of Social worker Collect for the baseline survey.
  2. Prepare weekly and monthly plans for social mobilization, data collection of the baseline survey, and other project activities.
  3. From the community selection committees for the identification and selection of OPV beneficiairies.
  4. Conduct outreach meetings and explain the project goal, objectives, and beneficiary selection criteria for the community elders and selection committee and keep them informed to avoid any interference in the survey and selection process.
  5. Manage social mobilization activities and make sure the most vulnerable households are introduced and taken into the survey of beneficiaries.
  6. Take specific notes on beneficiaries’ data while conducting data collection surveys.
  7. Conduct the data collection for baseline assessment in the Kandahar and Helmand provinces.
  8. Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
  9. Report to the project team leader on regular basis and keep close coordination on each step of data collection and survey.
  10. Prepare site surveying documents and present findings to the project team for wise beneficiary selection.
  11. Perform any other task deemed necessary by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

  1. University level or High School graduate with relevant experiences.
  2. Past working experience with Social worker and Data Collection Tool is highly desirable.
  3. Fluent in Pashtu and Dari, and
  4. Able to interact effectively with customers and community members.
