New Kabul Bank started its banking activities on 18 April 2011 by having received its license as a commercial bank under banking system of the country. 

New Kabul Bank is operating by CBS system and providing services for valued citizens by covering a wide network all over Afghanistan with professional and experienced cadre.

Basic Function:

1. Follow the laws, rules, guidelines, regulations, policies, and procedures applicable now and from time to time and adherence to the line of authority;

Planning

1. Assist CFO / DY-CFO in formulating the bank's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
2. Monitor the implementation of strategic business plans
3. Develop financial strategies in coordination with CFO / DY-CFO
4. Develop performance measures that support the bank's strategic direction

Operations

1. Manage the accounting and fixed assets functions including recording in GL/PL/customer accounts, review of documents, reporting, fixed asset additions, tagging, listing, depreciation, and disposal.
2. Maintain Fixed Assets list, initial Recognition best on Supporting Documents, and Subsequent measurement and complying monthly basis with FA Module.
3. Reporting Tangible and intangible fixed assets, additions, depreciation, Amortizations, disposals, write-off, sales and maintaining all movement of fixed assets, and tagging process listing.
4. Reporting of Grand assets depreciation, Amortization, and recording in GL/PL the deferred income.
5. Controlling supporting documents and Authorization of all types of posted vouchers in the system as per the authority limit
6. Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the finance, and operations team
7. Oversee financial operations.
8. Any other task may be assigned by the line managers.

Financial Information

1. Oversee the issuance of financial information.
2. Supporting the section in the month-end and year-end processes and ensuring a smooth completion of the month and year-end activities.

Risk Management

1. Understand and mitigate key elements of the bank's risk profile
2. Construct and monitor reliable control systems
3. Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
4. Report risk issues to the CFO / DY-CFO to be presented to the audit committee of the board of supervisors
5. Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations

Supervises: Deputy General Managers, Officers, and Representatives

1. Bachelors in Business Administration (Finance) / Bachelor of Commerce (Must)
2. Master’s in Business Administration (Finance), and Foundation Level of ACCA (Preferred)
3. Sound knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards

       4.Relevant prior experience of a minimum of two  years with financial institutions (Preferred)
