Job Summary

To oversee the credit granting & monitoring process while analyzing the portfolio w.r.t. risk and adhering to the credit policy and regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Review, recommend and advise approval of credit proposals as per Policy Guidelines.
• To arrange approvals from competent authority(s)
• Assessment and monitoring of credit risk according to regulatory and internal risk policies
• Liaison with branches, Head Office & Central Bank (DAB)
• Supervision of Card Centre Kabul, Afghanistan (Credit Card, Debit Card & POS Machines)
• Develop and review policies in accordance with local business and regulatory environment
• Consolidate, review and submit reports to Head Office & Central Bank.
• Ensure compliance of HO policies, procedures and DAB regulations
• Any other task assigned by Management

COMMUNICATIONS AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

• Internal:
• Branches, HRD, HO

• Customers, DAB, Ministries etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor Degree in below fields:

• Economic;
• Finance;
• Accounting;
• Business; and or

Member of ACCA and having certificate FRM, PRM or other international valid certificate.

Minimum Experience:

At least three years of managerial/executive position in banking credit or six years’ comparable managerial experience in other Financial Institutions.

Behavioral Skills:
