Job Descriptions:

JOB SUMMARY

The English Literature 2-Year Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall management and coordination of the program. This role involves overseeing student support, faculty management, data analysis, and communication with stakeholders. The Coordinator will ensure that the program adheres to government regulations and accreditation standards, while fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment for students and faculty.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student retention, engagement, and academic success.
  • Address student concerns and provide guidance on academic matters.
  • Prepare semester-wise timetables for students.
  • Manage the full registration process for new students, ensuring all required documents are validated.
  • Foster a collaborative environment among faculty, staff, and administration.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including government officials, parents, and students.
  • Submit monthly and quarterly reports to relevant government offices.
  • Collaborate with faculty to develop instructional materials and resources that enhance student learning.
  • Regularly visit relevant government departments.
  • Supervise trainers, providing ongoing support and submitting their daily Quality Control Department reports.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to faculty members.
  • Ensure that teaching in the two-year diploma program complies with accreditation standards and educational regulations as per TVET-A of Afghanistan.
  • Analyze academic performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare various reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Operations Coordinator, and relevant government authorities.
  • Prepare student attendance reports on a weekly and monthly basis and update students regarding their attendance.
  • Maintain all required books, such as the Observation Book, Announcement Book, Alumni Book, and Meeting Book.
  • Submit trainers’ attendance and punctuality reports to the Finance and HR departments on a monthly basis.
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned by the COO and OC.

Job Requirements:

•    Bachelor's degree in English literature, or a related field.
•    Proven experience in education administration or program management 
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
•    Excellent organizational and time management abilities 
•    Knowledge of educational regulations and accreditation standards 
•    Proficiency in using computers and relevant software.
•    Possess qualities of humility, maturity, respectfulness, honesty, and integrity.
•    Excellent written and spoken English skills.
•    Have command on both National Languages (Dari & Pashto)
