The Norwegian Afghanistan Committee (NAC) is a member-based solidarity organization that has been working in support and solidarity with the Afghan people for more than 35 years. The Norwegian Afghanistan Committee (NAC) has a zero tolerance of sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (SEAH) both within the organization and of beneficiaries. Prevention of and protection from sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (PSEAH) is the individual and collective responsibility of all NAC officers, management, staff, consultants, and volunteers, who are all required to familiarize themselves with, agree to, and act in accordance with NAC’s Ethical Guidelines and Commitment, NAC Child Protection Policy, and NAC PSEAH Policy, at all times – both during and outside working hours – and participate actively in introductory and refresher trainings. Major Duties and Responsibilities
Good communication skill (written and spoken) of Pashto, Dari, knowledge of English an advantage.
Strong interest in disability issue and physiotherapy.
Innovative, creative and honest personality,
Act according to the policy and regulation of NAC.
Keep update with issues related to NAC and the environment where NAC operates.
Promote an attitude of team spirit and strong focus on quality.
To oversee and guide the implementation of physiotherapy activity in the clinic.
To monitor, supervise, advise and support the lower staff activities who are working with him/her in the same district or clinic.
To supervise, monitor and support the CBR worker and community volunteer during HBT program especially in physical rehabilitation of disabled people.
Language requirements, if any
Oral and verbal fluency in Pashto and Dari, and English language is advantage.
Qualifications Required
Diploma in Physiotherapy or any other closely relevant educational fields.
Work Experience
3 years of experience in the field of physiotherapy and physical rehabilitation preferably with international NGOs.
Skills:
Knowledge of MS Office, and Good communication
