Job Descriptions:

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct regular monitoring visits on project sites using monitoring tools and checklists based on the workplan and schedule given by national and regional M&E Officers,

Collect and submit field monitoring data on a regular basis and provide on-time reports to regional and national M&E teams,

Conduct field monitoring visits for different project activities (e.g., community mobilization, beneficiary profile survey, warehouses, distribution sites, etc.) and report on the quality of project implementation in the field,

Perform data verification as requested by national and regional M&E teams,

Contribute to collection of quantitative and qualitative data in project assessments (e.g., post distribution monitoring, baseline and endline assessments, etc.),

Monitor NAC warehouses and report on feasibility of warehouses in safekeeping of inputs and tools,

Interview beneficiaries and document rural insights,

Participate in all training and workshops,

Abide by and work in accordance with the NAC principles, and

Perform any other work-related duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements:

Languages Required

Fluency in local languages (Dari, Pashto, Uzbeki) and satisfactory knowledge of English.

Qualifications Required

Bachelor’s degree with at least two years of relevant technical experience.

Adequate knowledge of monitoring and evaluation.

Ability to move in all areas of the provinces with readiness and frequent visit to northern (Badakhshan and Takhar), northwestern (Faryab), southern (Ghazni and Paktika), central (Kabul, Kapisa, Parwan, Panjshir), and southeastern (Khost and Paktia) regions.

Work Experience

Two years of relevant technical experience.

Skills

Communication skills and knowledge of local communities,

 Excellent communication skills,

 Attention to details to ensure accurate monitoring and reporting,

Ability to build relationships with beneficiaries, local authorities, and team members,

Basic computer skills and usage of mobile applications (e.g., MS Officer, Kobo Toolbox, ODK Collect, etc.), and

Understanding and respecting local customs and cultures.
