Agency for Assistance and Development of Afghanistan (AADA) is an Afghan non-profit non-governmental organization working for the development of Afghanistan mainly through (1) provision of quality health services; (2) community development; (3) training and capacity building at professional and community levels; and (4) research in topics of public health and social sciences besides various projects in different parts of Afghanistan.

Job Descriptions:

  • The M&E and Reporting Officer is responsible for monitoring the project’s performance against the set targets and activities and reporting to all concerned at all levels. S/he will be responsible for data collection, data analysis, data interpretation and provision of written feedback to project sites staff.
  • To manage the M&E work plan and ensure relevant logframe milestones of the program are achieved;
  • Conducting monitoring of visits to HFs/MHT and FHHs as indicated in the implementation plan;
  • Provide feedback about findings to HFs/MHT and FHH and develop a follow-up action plan;
  • Ensure that implementation of project activities adheres to program and donor requirements; 
  • To supervise regular data collection and ensure the quality of the data by random verifications and validations;
  • To generate reports based on field qualitative and quantitative data
  • Responsible for data entry of bi-monthly and monthly reports of all HFs, MHTs and FHHs
  • Submission of monthly reports to AADA main office timely  
  • Assist the Project Manager/coordinator in developing the monthly and quarterly plan of monitoring;
  • Any other tasks required.

Job Requirements:

  • MD degree from a recognized medical faculty or diploma in midwifery
  • Having at least one year experience in M&E and reporting   
  • Proficient in MS office (esp. excel and world);
  • To be a Herat resident;
  • Fluency in written and spoken local languages; 
  • Good working and reporting skills in English.
