The Norwegian Afghanistan Committee (NAC) has a zero tolerance of sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment (SEAH) both within the organization and of beneficiaries. Major Duties and Responsibilities
Supervisory Tasks
To supervise, and support CBR-workers and community volunteers during HBT-program, especially in physical rehabilitation cases.
Provide on the spot feedback and clear instruction to CBR workers and community volunteers during his/her visit from HBT cases.
Technical Tasks
Assess the disabled people identified by CBR-workers and community volunteers in the community who may need physiotherapy.
Treat those disabled and people in disabling condition in the area who need physiotherapy either at home or in the clinic.
Manage the Physiotherapy care of the patient, including patient assessment treatment planning and implementation for those conditions and disabilities prevalent in area
Express good empathy, safety and competence in the handling of disabled and disabling condition physiotherapy related patient
Follow up the disabled people who have been referred to other rehabilitation sources
To participate in internal Disability-project coordination meetings
Local technical aids should be advised to the CBR-workers and community volunteers and Family trainers
To write prescriptive reports regarding his/her activities on regular basis and submits to Physiotherapy supervisor/ CBR Senior Supervisor,
Home visits should be conducted regularly in accordance with the planned timetable, which should be done in consultation and coordination with CBR workers and community volunteers
To keep clinic and it is instrument clean and tidy and store all equipment in a safe way
To provide necessary awareness in relation to disabilities and prevention of disability for the PwDs, their family and the community
Conduct joint OPD with Orthopedic staff as required,
Training Tasks
Share his/her knowledge and experience with relevant colleagues and train CBR-workers, community volunteers and Family Trainers in the required therapy/procedures.
Tasks of inter organizational relation
Promote gender equality, non-discrimination about ethnic, political and religious background
To participate actively in workshops, seminars & conference organized by the NAC management
Promotes good coordination with other NAC projects, all RMOs units and other units/departments at RMOs
Language requirements, if any
Qualifications Required

Computer skill at operator level, especially with MS Office packages.
