Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) is an international, non-profitable, non-governmental humanitarian relief organization with its head quarter in Birmingham, UK. It enjoys consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and is a signatory to the Code of Conduct for International Red Cross and red Crescent Moments and NGOs in Disaster Relief. Islamic Relief has been working in Afghanistan for more than 23 years, providing emergency relief and implementing life-changing development projects for some of the most vulnerable people in the country. Islamic Relief set up our first Afghanistan office in 1999. Since then, IRA continued providing assistances in emergency relief, food security, livelihood, education, health, nutrition, shelter, orphan sponsorship, Ramadan and Qurbani programmes.

Duties & Responsibilities
•    Mobilize the community and beneficiaries and provide them with awareness regarding the project activities.
•    Support the team in planning and organizing community awareness, campaigns, and community mobilization sessions.
•    Engage and mobilize community members in one to one and group sessions.
•    Conduct awareness training and conduct information campaigns on the field according to the communities’ knowledge levels.
•    Prepare work plans, schedules, and reports for all activities.
•    Assist in Providing training to selected Afghan youths.
•    Assist in Conducting pre- and post-program assessments to measure skill development and knowledge acquisition.
•    Assist in Monitoring and reporting on the participants' progress, success stories, and challenges.
•    Support the project team in preparing final reports, including lessons learned and recommendations for future interventions.
•    Assist in the recruitment and selection of participants for training programs, including freelancing and Internship.
•    Organize and facilitate community workshops and training sessions on relevant skills, such as freelancing etc.
•    Monitor the progress of community members participating in programs and provide regular feedback to the project team.
•    Maintain accurate records of community engagement activities and participant progress.
•    Any other official related tasks may be assigned to her.

Qualification:
•    Bachelor’s degree in social science, Economics, Agriculture, and another relevant field.
Experience:
•    2-3 years of relevant experience of working in the community (Social Mobilizing, Community Mobilizing, Social Organizer, Community Facilitator etc).
•    Relevant work experience in Education and Youth Development Programs would be a plus.
Skills:
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•    Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
•    Be punctual, on time, and able to meet deadlines.
