Rehabilitation Association and Agriculture Development for Afghanistan (RAADA) started its humanitarian activities in 2002. As a local Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), RAADA began working in Herat province and extended its activities to western Afghanistan (Herat, Farah, Ghor, and Badghis provinces). Its Vision is “Poverty no Longer Exists in the World” and its Mission Statement is “Mitigating Poverty and Contributing to Reconstruction and Development Process in Afghanistan through Community-based Solutions and Interventions.”
Having a good analysis of the community needs, qualified staff, and sound management procedures, RAADA has designed and implemented various projects on Livelihood, Agriculture and Animal Husbandry, Human Rights, Women Empowerment, Disaster Risk Reduction, Water Supply, Health, and Hygiene ... with the financial support it has received from CAID, JICA, Tawanmandi-DFID, US Embassy, UNHCR, WAR CHILD UK, UNFAO, WFP, WHH, DRC, VDT, Italian Cooperation, IRC, CRS, and AKF.
The procurement/logistic officer implements the RAADA procurement policy as well as the donor's logistic and procurement procedures. They will be generally responsible for maintaining procurement records and filling for a full audit trail standard under both RAADA and donor's regulations. The officer must ensure the supplies, are managed in the best manner possible, have value for money, and that equipment/supplies are maintained.
