Job Descriptions:

B-Specific responsibilities

  • Ensures that RMNCAH activities/services are performed according to the BPHS/EPHS standards in SAF’s supported health facilities.
  • Assist the relevant provincial staff in implementation of national policies, strategies and protocols related to RMNCAH.
  • Represent SAF in all RMNCAH related trainings/workshops and other event at provincial level.
  • Guides and extensively support the relevant HFs’ staff to effectively achieve the index and maximum levels of RMNCAH related output/outcome indicators.
  • Collects the HMIS and RMNCAH related data, analyzes the data VS the related P4P performance indicators and when necessary provides constructive feedbacks to the HFs’ staff.
  • Regularly supervises the RMNCAH activities at the service delivery points (HF and HPs).
  • Attend all RMNCAH related meetings and task forces at the provincial/national level.
  • Act as GRM/PSEA focal point in sub office, functionalize the committee at provincial level and on each HFs level.
  • Improve safe mother-hood by conducting refresher training course at the project level and provide on job training for the HFs’ staff.
  • Keep an up to date record of all trainings of all projects’ staff involved in RMNCAH activities/services.
  • Performs any other task assigned by the program director.

Qualifications Required:

  • At least having MD degree.
  • At least 3-5 years work experience in relevant field as RMNCAH officer
  • Be familiar with the safe motherhood initiative and each of its components.
  • Having basic knowledge and skill of computer especially Microsoft Words, PPT, Excel and Access.
  • Having required knowledge of English and local Languages

 

Performance indicators:

  1. By end of the year twelve progress reports VS the RMNCAH related performance indicators are prepared and submitted to deputy technical manager.
  2. RMNACH unit action plan is developed and compiled by 10th of 1st month of the year
  3. At least 90% of SAF management meetings are actively participated
  4. Accurate and complete filing system in RMNACH unit is updated and maintained properly
  5. At least 90% of tasks with deadlines are accomplished and reported to deputy technical manager
  6. At least 90% of RMNACH Task Force meetings are attended
  7. At least one supportive supervision/ monitoring visit per week is conducted at the project sites.
  8. By end of the year at least 22 constructive feedbacks on RMNCAH related activities are provided to each of the HFs staff in Jawzjan BPHS (HER) project
  9. Availability of updated national RMNCAH related policy documents, manuals and guidelines is ensured at the health facilities.

Job Requirements:
