Job Descriptions:

The Branch Manager is responsible for the administration and efficient daily operation of a full service branch office, including operations, lending, marketing, customer service and security & safety in accordance with the Bank's objectives/policies. The Branch Manager is ultimately responsible for the profitability and productivity of the branch; and he/she directly supervising assigned personnel; communicating with appropriate management and staff personnel; providing periodic reports to branches departments and COO/DY_COO.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implements strategies to achieve goals assigned to the office as established in the Bank’s overall strategic plan; assists in the development of the annual budget for the branch and adheres to budget parameters.
  • Supervise the day to day operational functions of the Bank including, cash management, ATM; overseeing teller and customer service duties; and assisting with customer transactions to ensure that all activities are compliance with all banking laws and regulations and Procedures.
  • Provides a superior level of customer relations and promotes the sales and service culture through coaching, guidance and staff motivation.
  • Achieves individual and branch goals through new business sales, referrals and retention of account relationships.
  • Managing difficult situations with customers and providing them with a resolution, information or additional options. Ensure quick and proper response to all reasonable customer requests.
  • Actively participates in community organizations and activities in a manner, which reflects favorably on the Bank.
  • Ensure audit controls are followed and Comply with all applicable laws and regulations to protect the bank from unnecessary risk and exposure.
  • Maintain staff schedules to provide adequate coverage at all times.
  • Conducts performance evaluation of the branch staff and provide them regular feed-back in order to improve staff’s skills and capabilities.
  • Supervise the cleanness and keeping fix asset of the branch.
  • Coordinating with other branches to share knowledge, plan promotional activities, or achieve goals
  • Assessing market conditions and identifying opportunities.
  • Responsible to keep vault keys and while be on leave he/she should handover the keys to his/her backup person and get his/her signature on Key Register.
  • Understand, adopt, and adhere to organizational policies, procedures and guidelines as well as Train and Explain to Staffs.
  • Conducts daily sales and operation assessments and monitors every transaction made in the branch.
  • Reconcile Physical Cash with system report before day end and Close the branch Treasury (vault) as per Cash Management Procedure/Bank Instruction and Report immediately any Shortage in Cash to line manager.
  • Has ability to solve incident issues.
  • Sends reports to the Branches General Manager and provides updates of the business status.
  • Any other task assigned by Line Manager or will be assigned other duties and responsibilities as may be required to meet the goals and objectives of the bank.

Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, banking and finance and master’s degree is preferred.
