Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (CHA) is a non-governmental, non-profitable, and non-political Afghan NGO, working since 1987 mainly in agriculture, health, education, and infrastructure sectors in more vulnerable areas of the country. CHA is working through the implementation of Emergency, rehabilitation, and development projects for emergency aid for war, famine, and natural disaster-affected families in the field, to assist with the rehabilitation of rural and urban life, and to work with communities for sustainable development in Afghanistan.

• Provide preventive, promotion and curative health services to patients according to health facility requirements.
• Ability and willingness to provide health services in SHC.
• Perform emergency first care whenever needed.
• Support the provision of primary health care within the health facility.
• Prescribe medications, treatments, and follow-up care as needed.
• Conduct physical examinations and order diagnostic tests as required.
• Provide curative services to patients according to BPHS.
• Under the direct management of the health supervisor, the Medical Doctor is responsible for following main activities to ensure the provision of quality OPD services.
• Dispense rational medicine usage to patients in SHC.
• Participate in the weekly meetings of health facilities to share information and discuss the program's progress.
• Conduct monthly coordination meetings with Local Health Committee members and CHWs regarding the strengthening of community health work.
• maintain all equipment in good working order and report any problems or needs.
• Promote healthcare awareness and community participation.
• Provide medicine/medical supply monthly consumption reports regularly.
• Provide all monthly reports according to the HMIS tools.
• Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Medical degree (MD) and a valid medical license to practice in Afghanistan.
• At least 2 years of proven experience as a medical doctor.
• Working experience in BPHS health facilities are desirable and will be preferred.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of standard medical procedures.
• Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
• Culturally flexibility and respect multi-cultural environment.
