The Organization of Human Welfare (OHW) is a non-governmental organization and is a non-political, not-for-profit, and impartial organization with no bias towards a particular religion, ethnicity, or political belief. It has its own independent legal status and entity. OHW is operating since 2007 in the country with active membership with the national clusters and international donor agencies in Afghanistan including SWABAC, ACBAR, AICS, BAAG, AWN and most of the national and international Clusters operates based in Afghanistan.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• To contribute to improving the availability and demand for quality of expanded program of immunization  services by families, to protect women and girls and boys from vaccine-preventable diseases.
• Prepare a standard plan for the awareness program.
• Conduct awareness session for all beneficiaries at the distribution point on awareness on the vaccine.
• Use  and manage visual aids ( Banners, charts) during the awareness sessions.
• Control and manage crowed and assist the facilitators and trainers during the awareness session.
• Provide all necessary information and the importance of vaccines and declare the overall standard dozes.
• Mobilize and motivate the participants in using the vaccines and explain the risks of not using the vaccines.
• Educate and train the participants on the ( History, medical importance, types of vaccine, risk, dangerous, protection of the environment and meanwhile using the hygiene.
• Provide and give live examples on the children who have are vaccinated and those who are not vaccinated.
• Provide various cases on the subject matter and illustrate and add in the agenda of the awareness.
• Provide and share the lesson learned on the subject matters and provide necessary recommendations.
• Prepare and submit each session’s reports.
• Manage and provide number of awareness sessions for male and female beneficiaries at FDPs.

• Bachelore or High school degree in relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevent experience with specific experience in data entry or registration.
• Working with other donor-funded programs.
• Excellent communication skills in the local languages (Pashto and Dari).
