International English Language Academy (IELA) is rooted in Afghanistan and global in its reach. Over the past two decades, it has grown into an Afghanistan widely-recognized English platform with the vision of being a leading English-intensive institute in Afghanistan, nationally recognized as excellent, inclusive, and innovative, and where wisdom is advanced in service of society. As its mission states, IELA attracts outstanding students, employs talented staff, and provides a world-class environment; it is a place connected to the world, while enriching and transforming local, and global communities. The IELA's values - excellence, compassion, equity, accountability, and respect relate to the beliefs and attitudes that guide the institution's behavior. On starting out on 12 April 2000, IELA has demonstrated core competency in English Language, thousands of students, and 80 lecturing staff; today, IELA has Six campuses and a vibrant learning community. • Plan, prepare, and deliver English language lessons to students based on curriculum guidelines.
• Assess students’ progress, provide feedback, and tailor teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment conducive to language acquisition.
• Participate in professional development activities and training sessions to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in language education.
• Integrate technology and multimedia resources into lessons to enhance learning outcomes.
• Be able to teach all the essential skills of English Language.
• Prepare action plans and daily lesson plans.
• Mentor and train employees, fostering their professional growth and development within their respective roles.
• Contribute to the overall success and growth of the academy by participating in committees, and other extracurricular activities as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues and adhere to IELA’s, policies, culture and values.
• Perform any other relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor

• High School Diploma or equivalent. A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
• At least three years of experience in teaching English as a foreign language.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for teaching and ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Strong knowledge of English language teaching methodologies, and assessment practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multilingual environment.
• Ability to effectively speak both national languages (Pashto and Dari)
