About Tamadur Pharmaceuticals Company:

Tamadur Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Company is registered with Ministry of Industry and Commerce in the year 2023. We have identified the need to develop and implement a pharmaceutical factory in line with the directorate of Pharmacy of Afghanistan (The Ministry of Health) and Health Policy. The purpose of the company is to enhance the capacities of Afghanistan, effectively prevent and treat diseases that are of major concern to public health in Afghanistan. Based on our plan we will decide which medical devices are more needed for the people of Afghanistan with the permission of the Ministry of Health. Additionally, we are installing a plant for syringe manufacturing.

Job Review

The Strength of every organization is effective Financial Management; this position needs a qualified candidate with experience in the industry or manufacturing organization. Reporting to the Director of Finance and to the shareholders of the company, the Finance and Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including entering journals, managing accounts receivable and payable, using financial technology systems, and other select finance-related administration. The Manager ensures timely reconciliation and reporting of all financial statements and prepares financial analyses for the Director and other key stakeholders as requested; and maintains fiscal records. The Manager serves as the primary contact for internal staff on invoicing, bill payments, cash receipts and revenue, and budgets. The Manager also implements and trains staff to use software that streamlines processes and improves distribution and accessibility of financial information.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual budgets in collaboration with all department heads and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Develop financial forecasts to predict future revenues and expenses, adjusting strategies as necessary.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for board meetings, effectively communicating financial performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
  • Provide detailed financial reports monthly to shareholders, highlighting key performance indicators and strategic insights.
  • Actual reports development, monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
  • Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect company assets.
  • Oversee cash flow management, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
  • Manage working capital effectively to optimize cash utilization and minimize financing costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support operational efficiency.
  • Act as a financial advisor to senior management and stakeholders, influencing strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Prepare documentation and respond to inquiries related to audits and financial reviews.
  • Formulate and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with the company's goals.
  • Oversee tax planning and compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
  • Coordinate finance team activities to ensure timely and accurate financial processing and reporting.

 

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

  • A master’s degree in finance or ACCA will be preferred, with at least three years of experience in the same industry or manufacturing.

Other Skills

  • Good communication skills specifically in English, Pashto, and Dari.
  • Good character and supportive with staff.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic personality to lead the tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
