INTERSOS is an independent association which, through its own humanitarian operators, intervenes to effectively answer the needs of people in serious crises situations, mainly in the world's poorest regions, who are suffering, deprived of rights, dignity and essentials goods. It maintains a flexible operating structure.

Job Descriptions:

The HMIS Assistant supports accurate, timely, and confidential management of health, nutrition, and WASH data. 1. Verify source documents – review intake sheets, hygiene-promotion and nutrition forms, MIAR registers, referral slips, etc., confirming completeness, authorization, and legibility before data entry.
  2. Enter epidemiological data into designated HMIS, DHIS2, and project databases; generate routine data-quality checks and error logs.
  3. Quality control & anomaly tracking – run consistency queries, correct discrepancies, and immediately flag unusual trends or database issues to the HMIS Officer.
  4. Compile weekly reports – populate MIAR, HF staff, nutrition, and WASH sections; draft narrative and quantitative summaries for the HMIS Officer/PM.
  5. Produce data-entry performance metrics (e.g., completeness, timeliness, error frequency) and share with supervisors.
  6. Document review & revision support – update registration/referral forms, MIAR, HIMS tools when requested by technical coordinators.
  7. Capacity-building assistance – help train/re-train clinical and outreach staff on correct form completion; ensure continuous supply of hard-copy tools.
