LAMPO (Livelihood Advancement and Management Promotion Organization) is a people at risk -focused, non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit organization based in Kabul, Afghanistan. LAMPO is dedicated to empowering women and vulnerable populations by promoting sustainable livelihoods, vocational skills, and food processing techniques. The organization works to enhance economic resilience, gender norms promotion and community development through its programs in tailoring, agriculture, and enterprise development.

LAMPO Organization is looking for a reliable and experienced male Guard to ensure the security and safety of its office and staff. The successful candidate must have a proven background in security work, preferably with national or international NGOs. This role requires attention and proactive measures to maintain a secure environment across all LAMP-O facilities, including the office, vocational training center. Under the guidance of assigned of admin and security focal points, Watchmen respond to emergencies and threats, prevent unauthorized access, and report suspicious activities.

Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills in Dari/Pashto and English (preferred).
Ability to solve problems and maintain good relations with local communities.

Trustworthy, disciplined, and punctual

Willing to work day and night shifts

Good communication and observation skills

Basic literacy and ability to keep daily records (preferred)

Experience: At least three years of experience as a security guard or watchman with international NGOs or UN agencies. Minimum Education: High School

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain the safety and security of office premises, staff, and property.

Control entry and exit of staff, visitors, and vehicles.

Perform regular patrols during both day and night shifts.

Secure doors, windows, and gates during and after working hours.

Maintain a daily security logbook and report incidents immediately.

Detect and report suspicious activities or security threats.

Prevent unauthorized access to the premises.

Assist with loading/unloading deliveries as needed.

Cooperate with logistics and admin teams when requested.

Respond appropriately to emergencies such as fire, theft, or health incidents.

Ensure all security equipment is in proper working condition.
