WASSA is launching a four-month emergency response project to support the recent returnees in Islam Qala boarder. The project focuses on addressing urgent needs in food security and Cash for Food, particularly for vulnerable returnee families. Interventions include the distribution of cash for food assistance for 1420 vulnerable households.
2. Scope of Work
The Cash Distributer Officer will be responsible for overall to lead the registration, selection and verification of beneficiaries using Kobo for data collection based on the CARE’s selection criteria in Islam Qala boarder, ensuring transparency and need-based inclusion for cash program. Coordinate regularly with UN agencies, IOM, WFP, UNHCR, local authorities and other humanitarian actors involved in the returnee response to ensure smooth collaboration and avoid duplication. Keep close coordination with IOM to receive their list beneficiaries the referred cases. Ensure having close coordination with CARE's contracted FSP to pay the cash for the selected returnees in Reception Center in Islam Qala boarder, and ensure the BDL is fill out and documented in the file. In addition; make recommendations for better improvements with timely providing daily/weekly/monthly inputs and update to the line manager.
