Job Descriptions:

The Finance Officer will manage financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organizational policies. This role supports strategic decision-making through effective financial recoriding, reporting and analysis.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and maintain financial system, statements and reports.
  • Monitor budget expenditures and ensure adherence to financial policies.
  • Conduct regular financial visits and reviews to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Assist in the development of the annual budget.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Provide financial training and support to staff as needed.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in Quickbooks.
  • Prepare tax returns and ensure timely payments.
  • complete grant management and reporting requirements.

Assist in financial forecasting and planning activities.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in financial management or accounting roles.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.

Skills: Proficiency in financial software QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; excellent communication skills.
