Job Descriptions:

The Master Trainer is responsible for ensuring the quality education through staff develop training, workshop and teachers’ coaching/Training, other various training sessions as per the project plan, making effective module practice teaching in ASTA centers by supportive supervision and reporting. And on the job assistance during the ASTA visits, collect school and training data.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Make plan and conduct training and other coaching as per the project work plan and preparing module to develop the teachers' and staff quality for ensuring the quality education.
  • Enhancing the capacity of staff & teachers, providing need-based pedagogy training/workshop.
  • Do the supportive supervision to develop the CM capacity by classroom visit & other activities as per target/plan.
  • Observes classroom teaching-learning process and activities and provides on the job training and assistance to the ASTA teachers.
  • Prepares training Implementation plan for provincial level targeted training.
  • Conducts evaluation of training sessions and analyze the training data.
  • Submits accurate and proper, training, classroom observation, and other relevant reports to the provincial coordinator in timely manner.
  • Conduct the staff meeting and training to enhance the staff quality.
  • Make sure that classrooms are safe and secure, equipped with classroom, students and teachers kits.
  • Communicate with CMs and check the progress of lessons in classroom taking place according to the monthly/semiannual lessons progress plan.
  • Help the ASTA teachers in planning or running its activities in the classroom, if need provide model lessons in the classroom.
  • Communicate with CM, PM and support to update report as per project requirements.  
  • Check the daily lesson plan, Classroom attendance, Daily lesson progress in case if there is anything missing discuss with PO and PEM for solution.
  • Makes sure that PED/DED and receives a copy of the students’ progress sheets.
  • Make monthly and quarterly report preserve in office and send to the concern authority for project requirements 
  • Coordinate and create monthly schedule for all courses eligible to train. Share schedule to the CMs to ensure the training needs of all employees are met.
  • Attend departmental & other meetings as required and attend outside training as agreed upon with the Provincial Coordinator.
  • Ensure the materials and its proper use in ASTA to increase the involvement of teachers & students for ensuring the quality education.
  • Establish a safeguarding culture across all level of the program by implementing the safeguarding policy. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Responsible to ensure team members are appropriately trained, supported and have access to resources regarding issues that are identified and actioned in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedure.

 

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  •  Bachalor, Master Preferred
  • 3 years’ experience in relevant job.
  • Fluency in Dari, Pashto & English
  • Good communication skills particularly in local language (Dari/Pashtu)
  • Speaking and writing ability in English
  • Good knowledge in Child education system in Afghanistan.
  • Good knowledge of MoE policy.
  • Computer knowledge and skill.
  • Ensure reports and other reports from concerned supervisor with qualitative and quantitative information.
  • Be able to do the field visit into targeted district at provincial level.
  • Knowledge on materials development.
  • Employee must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Employee must be able adjust technical language and presentation skills for audiences of all levels. .
