Justice for Equality Afghanistan Organization (JEAO) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization founded on the principle that access to affordable quality health care is a basic human right. JEAO works with interdisciplinary professionals to develop and implement innovative, culturally appropriate, evidence based public health interventions.  JEAO offers ground-breaking and unconventional solutions that foster self-reliance and promote sustainable health care that is accessible to all. JEAO is working in Afghanistan since 2007, implementing integrated health projects managed mainly by national staff supported technically and management wise by expatriate staff from head office.

• Review M & E policy, develop tools and practices to ensure full and quality monitoring of the office and project including, activities, staff performance, project budget expenditure based on budget, impact on the community, and sustainably based on the project goal.
•  Ensure that the Monitoring tools are based on the project indicators and measuring the project objectives.
• Undertake regular monitoring of project activities to ensure that the quality and quantity of the program activities being carried according to Project.
• Prepare and implement monthly monitoring and evaluation plans for the program meeting the benchmarks and indicators set in the monitoring and Evaluation plans and policies.
• Advise, and if necessary, train, the field staff on the monitoring and evaluation procedures.
• Complete and submit regular reports on the monitoring and evaluation findings in the field to Project Manager who will report to the director The reports will include your field visits
• Monitor field teams related to training activities and assess and report on progress to supervisor.
• Communicate closely with the field staff of the project for better reporting of the project.
• Ensure timely and appropriate reporting on project activities to Project Manager.
• Prepare the M&E Framework and Tools and Track down the project activities.
• Attend at all meetings arranged by the Project Manager.
• Any other relevant tasks given by line manager.

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 4–5 years of professional experience in monitoring, evaluation, research, or data management (preferably in development or humanitarian projects).
• Strong knowledge of M&E frameworks, logical frameworks (logframe), and results-based management.
• Experience with data collection tools (Kobo, ODK, CommCare, etc.) and database management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and statistical software (SPSS, STATA, or Power BI an asset).
• Strong analytical, writing, and reporting skills.
• Good communication, facilitation, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to travel frequently to field sites.
• Knowledge of local languages and cultural contexts is an advantage.
