Faradata Social Change and Women Empowerment Organization (FSCWEO) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established on 20 July 2020 in Afghanistan. FSCWEO works to promote social change, empower women and youth, and support vulnerable communities through programs in education, health, WASH, livelihoods, human rights, and humanitarian assistance. With active offices in Kandahar, Herat, Helmand, Farah, and Nimruz, the organization aims to build an Afghanistan where all people—regardless of gender, ethnicity, or religion—live in dignity and equality.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Program Assistant will perform the following tasks:
1. Program Support & Coordination
Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of program activities.
Support field teams in organizing workshops, trainings, and community meetings.
Maintain regular communication with field staff and beneficiaries.
2. Documentation & Reporting
Collect, compile, and organize program data and reports from the field.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and final progress reports.
Maintain proper filing and record-keeping of program documents.
3. Logistics & Administration
Provide logistical support for program events, travel, and field missions.
Coordinate procurement requests and ensure timely delivery of program supplies.
Support the organization of meetings, preparing agendas, and recording minutes.
4. Communication & Liaison
Act as a focal point for program-related communications.
Liaise with stakeholders, communities, and local authorities as needed.
Support awareness and outreach campaigns under the supervision of the Program Manager.
5. Other Duties
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the program team.
Perform any other relevant tasks assigned by the Program Manager.
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in program support, preferably with NGOs or international organizations.
Strong organizational and coordination skills.
Good knowledge of project cycle management and reporting.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and stakeholders.
High level of integrity, responsibility, and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
