About Apex AMANAT Microfinance Services (AAMS)
Apex AMANAT Microfinance Services (AAMS), an impact-driven investment arm of the Rupani Development Initiative (RDI), is launching a new Microfinance Institution (MFI) in Afghanistan.
Rupani Development Initiative (RDI) is looking for experienced professionals for its upcoming Microfinance Institution (MFI) in Afghanistan. The positions aim to build a strong management team to ensure effective operations, financial sustainability, and impactful service delivery.
General Responsibilities:
The Credit Manager / Loan Officer will assess loan applications, monitor repayment, and ensure the overall quality and integrity of the loan portfolio. This position plays a key role in supporting sustainable lending practices.
Responsibilities:
Assess client creditworthiness through thorough analysis of income, repayment capacity, and collateral (where applicable).
Approve or recommend loans within delegated authority, ensuring alignment with MFI policies and Sharia principles when applicable.
Monitor loan recovery, delinquency trends, and portfolio quality, implementing corrective measures as needed.
Guide and train field staff on credit assessment procedures, loan documentation, and client follow-up processes.
Maintain updated loan records and prepare reports on portfolio performance for management review.
Support financial literacy among clients to promote responsible borrowing and repayment practices.
Coordinate with the Operations Manager and Branch Manager to ensure portfolio sustainability and growth.
