About Première Urgence - Aide Médicale Internationale (PU-AMI)

PU-AMI (known globally as Première Urgence Internationale, PUI) is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-political and non-religious international aid organization. PU-AMI’s teams are committed to support vulnerable communities and populations, those marginalized, hit by conflict, natural disaster or economic downturns. PU-AMI’s main objective is to contribute to reduction in morbidity and mortality, and provide emergency relief to those in immediate need in order to help them regain their dignity.

Afghan mission is the oldest of PUI missions, with the first medical intervention launched in 1979 just after the Soviet troops crossed the country’s borders. PU-AMI teams currently deliver the integrated health care, combined with nutrition, psychosocial support; water, sanitation and hygiene (wash), as well as trauma services. The organization implements projects mainly in eastern parts of the country, and increasingly in the South-East Region. Since the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, PU-AMI has also positioned itself as one of the main actors in preparedness and response to the pandemic, implementing health and wash-cantered activities at health facilities and community level in Kabul and beyond.

Globally, PUI provides assistance to around 6 million people in 23 countries and across 5 continents: Africa, Asia, Middle East, Latin America, and Europe.

پی یو ای ام آی که در سطح جهان به نام پی یو آی شناخته میشود یک اداره غیردولتی، غیرانتفاعی، غیرسیاسی و غیر مذهبی مدد رسان بین ا لمللی میباشد.

تیم های  پی یو ای ام آی متعهد به حمایت  و کمک جوامع و جمعیت های آسیب پذیر به انهاییکه در اإثر منازعات- حوادث طبیعی و رکود اقتصادی منزوی شده اند میباشد.  هدف عمده پی یو ای ام آی کمک در کاهش مرگ و میر -کمک عاجل به اعاده و بازیابی حیثیت ووقار  انهاییکه در نیاز فوری قرار دارند میباشد.

 ماموریت افغانستان  قدیمی  ترین مآموریت پی یو آی بوده و  با اولین مداخله در بخش صحی در سال1979  فقط درست بعد از عبور نیروهای شوروی از مرز های کشور آغاز شد.

تیم های پی یو ای ام آی در حال حاضر مراقبت های صحی ادغام یافته همراه با تغذیه حمایت روانی اجتماعی-آب-نظافت و حفظ ا لصحه واش و خدمات  تردیدات یا تروما را ارایه میدارد.

 این اداره عمدتآ پروژه ها را در  بخش شرقی کشور و بطور فزاینده در مناطق جنوب شرقی کشور  از زمان شیوع  کرونا در  2020  تطبیق مینماید .

پی یو ای ام آی  همچنین منحیث بازیگر اصلی در آمادگی و پاسخ به بیماری همه گیر – اجرای فعالیت های صحی و واش در سطح مراکز صحی و جامعه در کابل و فراتر از آن موقعیت خود را تثبیت نموده است.

Responsibilities and particular assignmentsمسؤلیت ها و وظایف مشخص

• Search, register, issued badge and Escort the visitor to the related department
• Main gate should always be closed properly and must remain closed all the time.
• Prior to opening the door, a visual must be done to check outside situation.
• Ensures arriving to duty on time and do not leave the position until the next guard on duty has arrived.
• Make hand-over inspection and procedures and confirm hand-over by due entries in the entry log-book.
• Ensure the security related equipment’s are operational and available when taking up duty.
• Patrol the perimeter of the compound regularly.
• All visitors must be duly registered in entering log book when coming in the PU-AMI Base Guards should make sure before letting the visitor in, that he is invited by a PU-AMI staff.
• Control all movement in and out (access control) of the PU-AMI compound.
• All lights (inside PU-AMI Base) must be switched on when dark and must be switch off during daylight.
• Must stay awake all night long. Lights in guards’ room must be switch on all night long as well.
• Must inform direct supervisor of any possible safety threats that can hamper PU-AMI Base (GH & office) or anything unusual in the street.
• Guards’ room must be kept clean and safe at any time.
• Other reasonable tasks, as assigned by his supervisor.

Objective 2: Housing

Activities/Main duties:

• May be requested to help handling some material inside PU-AMI compound of Laghman base.
• Has to take care of all light of the Base (bulbs, pressure lanterns, petrol lamps, picnic lanterns...). Responsible for their maintenance (changing nets, bulbs, refueling pressure lanterns).

• Ensure that generator is well maintained (fuel, water and oil). Switching on and off the generator when needed and report malfunctioning.

Objective 3: Housing

Activities/Cleaning:                                

• He has to clean every day PU-AMI Guest House/office (floor dust, etc): rooms, bathroom, living-room, kitchen, toilets, stairs and any other room of the premise
• He has to clean regularly others components of premises as: windows, doors, stairs, etc
• He is in charge to supply when needed items for the premises as soap, toilet paper, towels, bed sheets, etc.
• He has to tidy up any components under his/her responsibility (products, items, etc) and belonging to shared use
• He has to empty garbage every day
• Request the needed material for cleaning and equipment needed for a guard bases or need.

• Any other task assigned by line manager.

Mandatory qualifications / requirements: 

• At least  graduates from 12 grade.
• Communication (oral and Witten) in Dari / Pashtu  and in English is Need.
• At least  2  years working experience in relevant field, as Guard /Cleaner
• To be Afghan citizen
• Resident of the same Province.
