Organization for Assistance to Indigenous Resources (OAIR) is a national non-governmental organization in Afghanistan established in 2012, dedicated to supporting vulnerable communities through sustainable livelihoods, economic development, and humanitarian assistance. OAIR works across multiple sectors, including SME and MSME development, vocational skills, agriculture, and community resilience, with a strong focus on women, youth, and marginalized groups. Through partnerships with national and international organizations, OAIR implements impactful projects that promote self-reliance, income generation, and long-term socio-economic development across Afghanistan.
1. Note
This position is contingent upon the successful approval of the project proposal and associated grant funding. CVs of shortlisted candidates will be included in the grant submission to demonstrate team capacity. Employment offers will be confirmed only upon final grant approval.
2. Purpose of the Position
The Workforce Development Specialist will design, coordinate, and implement workforce development and skills-building activities under the project, with a focus on employability, SMEs and MSMEs support, and inclusive job creation for women, youth, returnees, IDPs, and other vulnerable groups.
