About New Way Social and Development Organization (NSDO)

NSDO is a development, advocacy, and humanitarian organization established in 2011 and registered with the Ministry of Economy, Government of Afghanistan. NSDO is based in Kabul, with programming hubs across the north and northeastern provinces of the country. NSDO strives to empower the vulnerable and marginalized communities suffering from the impacts of war, natural calamities, poverty, and injustice. Additionally, NSDO is also working on the idea of integrated development, which encompasses socio-economic, cultural and good governance. Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery

  • Conduct training sessions on digital literacy, digital marketing and graphic design  concepts as per the approved curricula
  • Cover topics such as social media marketing, content creation, SEO basics, and online branding.
  • Integrate life skills sessions into training
  • Contribute to the integration and application of environmental and social safeguarding principles within training sessions, ensuring that best practices are effectively embedded into program delivery.

Curriculum Implementation

  • Deliver training based on approved curriculum. Maintain the training progress record.
  • Adapt training content to align with market context and participant needs, while providing comprehensive support to ensure effective learning outcomes.

Participant Support

  • Guide trainees in practical assignments and projects.
  • Monitor learning progress.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Maintain attendance and performance records. Ensure trainees are evaluated on time, regular feedback is provided to the participants.
  • Provide regular weekly report to project manager and provincial team.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of training participants, and promptly report cases of absenteeism or other factors contributing to low attendance rates to the project team and field social mobilizers

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s is an asset).
  • Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in digital marketing and graphic design/or having proven experience on digital literacy and or graphic design or digital marketing.
  • Practical experience managing:
  • Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • Online campaigns and content creation
  • Experience working with NGOs/INGOs or youth programs is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver capacity-building or training programs.

  • Quality and creativity of trainee projects (campaigns, content, pages)
  • Timeliness and accuracy of training reports and documentation
  • Participant satisfaction and feedback scores
  • Contribution to achieving overall project targets and outcomes.

Working Conditions

Based in Kunduz Province with possible travel to training sites.
