Job Description

  • Responsible for managing information for the project and ensuring the integrity of data throughout the system
  • Collecting monthly reports from HFs on regular basis.
  • Inter all HMIS data by using HMIS data base and give the report to immediate supervisor.
  • Operates the HMIS and other relevant databases, updates and analyze the information timely and regularly
  • Provides reliable, accurate, and timely information and reports for planning and decision-making purposes
  • supervise the HMIS activities in the project catchment areas
  • Ensure technical assistance and active involvement in certain project level assignments like conducting of household surveys, CAAC etc. at provincial level
  • Responsible to share HMIS, reporting and filed performance related issue both with field staff based on filed visits findings and report analysis.
  • Ensure effective team work and coordination with project staff and provincial HMIS and PHO team in order to ensure the performance and data of the project as per project targets and update HMIS guideline.
  • Any other tasks and responsibilities as required for the implementation of the project and assigned by direct supervisor

    Job Requirements

    • At least 3 years of proven experience at the field of HMIS with technical background;
    • Bachelor degree in Public Health,statistics, Health Information Managment or related field. 
    • Strong communications and leadership skills;
    • Fluent English, Pashto, and Dari with excellent speaking and writing skills;
    • Proficient computing skills including word processing, spreadsheet design and presentations
