Job Description

Job Summary :

The Asset and Equipment Management Intern will support the effective management, tracking, and maintenance of organizational assets and equipment. The role involves maintaining accurate asset records, assisting with inventory audits, monitoring asset utilization, and supporting lifecycle management activities. The ideal candidate will have One year of experience in dedicated asset and equipment management, inventory control, or a related field and possess strong analytical and organizational skills.

Main responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update asset and equipment records in the asset management system.

  • Assist in asset tagging, tracking, transfers, and disposal processes.

  • Conduct physical asset inventories and reconcile discrepancies with system records.

  • Monitor asset utilization, condition, and lifecycle status.

  • Support equipment maintenance tracking and scheduling activities.

  • Prepare asset management reports, inventory summaries, and data analyses.

  • Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure accurate asset information and compliance with asset management procedures.

  • Identify and report asset-related issues, discrepancies, or risks.

  • Support process improvement initiatives related to asset tracking and control.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and audit requirements.

  • Other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA) or a related field, graduated in 2023 or later.

Experience / Skills :

One year of experience in asset and inventory management.

Skills

  • Knowledge of asset lifecycle management principles and inventory control processes.

  • Ability to maintain accurate records and manage data effectively.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Interpersonal skills

  • Effective verbal and written communication.

  • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.

  • Professional and respectful interaction with staff, field team.

  • Adaptability and willingness to learn

Languages:

Good verbal and written English, in addition to excellent in Pashto and Dari

IT knowledge :

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
