About Asia Chain Laboratoary

Asia Lab medical diagnosis chain laboratories established in 2017 and launched its branches in the different provinces of Afghanistan such as Kabul, Herat, Kandahar, Mazar-e-Sharif, Ghor, Takhar, etc. Asia Lab started its operation under the authorization of Ministry of Public Health of Afghanistan. Asia Lab is suppling high quality diagnosis services across Afghanistan by benefiting from the skilled and knowledgeable personnel.

These laboratories are supplying services in the different sections including Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, Parasitology, Serology, Mycology, Endocrinology, Histology, Pathology, PCR, Virology, Enzymology and blood bank.

Asia Lab has been equipped to the modern laboratory machinery and equipment and by using the newest diagnosis methods, is trying to improve medical diagnosis in Afghanistan.

We believe that the professionalism and commitment are very significant to reach to our positive objectives therefore; we always inspire our managers and skilled personnel to motivate them and create loyalty and commitment to the society. Undoubtedly, enhancing of knowledge of the personnel, will create improvement in term of the more precise and accurate diagnosis, therefore we always arrange educational programs for all of our personnel to increase their knowledge about how operate the machinery to be able to get more accurate results.

Job Description

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance the organization's market position, strengthen brand awareness, increase customer acquisition and retention, and support revenue growth across all medical laboratory services. The role oversees both strategic and operational marketing activities, including market research, digital marketing, branding, promotional campaigns, customer engagement, business development support, and coordination with sales and laboratory operations to ensure sustainable organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Develop annual and quarterly marketing strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Prepare comprehensive marketing plans and budgets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market segments.
  • Analyze healthcare market trends and customer behavior.
  • Develop competitive positioning strategies.
  • Monitor marketing performance and recommend improvements.

 

2. Brand Management

  • Build and strengthen the organization's corporate identity.
  • Ensure consistency of branding across all communication channels.
  • Develop marketing materials, brochures, presentations, and promotional content.
  • Maintain brand standards throughout all laboratory branches.

 

3. Business Development Support

  • Collaborate with the Sales Department to increase referrals and institutional partnerships.
  • Support contract acquisition initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities with hospitals, clinics, NGOs, government agencies, universities, and private healthcare providers.
  • Develop customer engagement programs.

 

4. Digital Marketing

  • Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns.
  • Oversee website content and optimization.
  • Manage social media platforms.
  • Coordinate email marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor digital advertising performance.

 

5. Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
  • Evaluate pricing strategies.
  • Assess customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze industry developments.
  • Prepare market intelligence reports.
  • Identify emerging healthcare trends.

 

6. Customer Relationship Management

  • Develop customer retention initiatives.
  • Coordinate customer feedback systems.
  • Improve patient and client experience.
  • Strengthen relationships with key institutional clients.
  • Address customer concerns in collaboration with relevant departments.

 

 

7. Campaign & Event Management

  • Plan health awareness campaigns.
  • Organize medical seminars and educational events.
  • Coordinate exhibitions and conferences.
  • Manage promotional activities and public awareness programs.
  • Evaluate campaign effectiveness.

 

8. Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with laboratory managers.
  • Coordinate with sales, procurement, finance, and operations departments.
  • Ensure marketing activities support organizational priorities.
  • Facilitate communication between departments.

 

9. Budget Management

  • Prepare annual marketing budgets.
  • Monitor marketing expenditures.
  • Optimize return on marketing investments.
  • Evaluate campaign cost-effectiveness.

 

10. Reporting

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly marketing reports.
  • Present KPIs and campaign performance.
  • Report customer acquisition statistics.
  • Analyze ROI of marketing initiatives.
  • Recommend strategic improvements.

 

11. Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Supervise Marketing Officers.
  • Coordinate with external advertising agencies and media partners.

·       Mentor junior marketing staff.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Office-based with frequent field visits.
  • Occasional travel to laboratory branches and client locations.
  • Participation in medical exhibitions, conferences, and promotional events.
  • Flexibility to work beyond standard office hours when required.

Job Requirements

Requirements And Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
  • Master's Degree (MBA or Marketing) is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in marketing.
  • At least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Experience in healthcare, medical laboratories, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, or medical equipment companies is highly preferred.

Strong communication skills in all three languages (Pashto, Dari and English) are required for internal coordination, client communication, reporting, and professional correspondence.
