Nursing Manager

Manage and supervise the overall nursing department.

Ensure adequate nursing staff and prepare duty rosters and shift schedules.

Supervise nurses and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Monitor patient safety, quality of nursing care, and professional standards.

Develop and implement nursing SOPs, protocols, and guidelines.

Ensure proper documentation of nursing care and patient records.

Coordinate with doctors, administration, pharmacy, laboratory, and other hospital departments.

Monitor compliance with infection prevention and control practices.

Ensure proper medication administration and safe nursing practices.

Organize orientation and training programs for nursing staff.

Evaluate nursing staff performance and provide regular feedback.

Participate in recruitment, interviews, and selection of nursing staff.

Manage nursing supplies, equipment, and medication-related requirements.

Investigate and report incidents, complaints, and adverse events.

Ensure appropriate handover between shifts.

Monitor staffing levels and recommend recruitment when required.

Conduct regular nursing meetings and maintain meeting records.

Ensure emergency preparedness and appropriate response by nursing staff.

Maintain confidentiality and professional ethics.

Prepare regular nursing department reports for hospital management.

Support hospital accreditation and quality-improvement activities.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or A Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, or a related field is an advantage.Minimum 5 years of professional nursing experience.

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a nursing supervisory or managerial position.

Experience in managing nurses across departments such as OPD, inpatient wards, emergency, ICU, OT, and other clinical areas is an advantage
